Moved in and getting settled

We've been basically in overdrive since Halloween! We moved to CT right after Halloween. The move went super smooth and I am happy to report that nothing(of significance anyways) got damaged! The only hitch was the actual day we arrived in CT. The kids and I were delayed in traffic for 4 hours due to an earlier accident and traffic was rerouted and subsequently gridlocked. We were only 15 minutes from our new home!! I thought I was seriously going to go bonkers sitting in the van with BOTH kids cranky and hungry! Then once our stuff was delivered we got a majority of it put away within the first few days! It does seem that with each subsequent move that we are able to get unpacked/settled more quickly! Good thing too because my parents came for L's bday about a week or so after we moved in. LOL About another week later we hosted Thanksgiving here. We did get about a 3 week reprieve lol! until Christmas, which we hosted here! New Year's Eve was at my MIL's house but I wasn't feeling well enough to make the hour long drive, so we opted to stay home and invite Brian's dad over. Once Brian went back to work and L back to school things were finally able to be stable, for a few weeks anyway! ;-) Until the next barrage of life events strikes...
